Look I know this is barely anything given the current situation and I’m not 100% happy with how these turned out but something is better than nothing.  I feel like I have been paralyzed the last few weeks watching a conflict unfold rooted in all the things I really hate in this world.  Capitalism, fossil fuels, racism, inequity, white supremacy.  The worst of humanity is all reflected there and world leaders are complicit in genocide.  Making is the only thing that helps me cope.  So I have made these porcelain vessels and filled them with lavender soywax candles.  The idea is that they will bring peace into your heart.  If only we could bring peace into everyone’s hearts.  

 

Handthrown porcelain tumbler painted with food safe underglazes in colourful peace signs.  The porcelain has some transparency so when lit from within it glows with a beautiful golden light.

Hand poured soy wax candles with lavender essential oil.

After the candle has been burned these vessels are suitable for use for food/drink after being cleaned.

Microwave & dishwasher safe.  Approximately 9cm tall x 8cm diameter.

All proceeds from the sale of these vessels go to Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
