Description

Give yourself or someone you love a hand job with this cute kit that includes everything you need to make some hand-jobbed mugs in my signature style.  This beginner-friendly (and kid friendly!) pottery kit has enough clay and tools to make 2 mugs and a set of letters so you can add your own custom message, kīwaha or whatever you come up with!  My workshop is a judgement-free zone so be as creative or sweary as you like with your words (but please no hate speech or any nasty shit).

I will bisque for your pieces, underglaze your words in black, and then add a clear glaze over the whole piece and fire again.

what’s inside

  • buff stoneware clay for two creations or people, packaged in a compostable pouch
  • 5 wooden sculpting tools*
  • a set of letter stamps*
  • an easy to follow guide and tips for making a sweet vessel

* the cost of the kit includes a $10 refundable deposit when you return the tools and letter set with your pieces for firing

how it works

  • order the kit and select either free pickup from my workshop in Newtown or delivery
  • once you get your kit, open and enjoy the hand job process!  I suggest relaxing and just having fun with it in order to get the best hand job experience 😉
  • once you’ve finished your creations let them dry about a week
  • drop them back to me at my workshop – due to the very fragile nature of unfired clay (greenware) they cannot be sent by post but must be hand delivered.
  • if you return the 5 tools & all the letters you will get a $10 refund
  • I will fire your work within 1-2 weeks and you can choose to either pick them up or get them delivered 🙂

Please note if you do come up with a really awesome message I may steal your idea, but I will check with you first and give you credit before putting it into production!
